Stained glass made to order
Windows, doors, transoms, cabinet inserts and whole walls of glass, for homes, restaurants, breweries, offices and churches. Every pattern on this page is a sample: Alan scales it up or down to fit your opening. He has made everything from a 22-inch panel to a pair of 16-foot windows.
Rough price guide
Alan's glass is $400 per square foot, with a two square foot minimum. Measure the opening and the guide does the arithmetic; Alan confirms the price after a short design call, and a 50% deposit books your place in the queue.
For venues and businesses
Alan's larger pieces can be rented or lent for exhibitions, lobbies, restaurants, events and film. Backlit frames are available, so a panel works on a solid wall as well as in a window.
For a new build or renovation, send drawings or a photo of the space and Alan will come back with a sketch and a quote. Progress photos are sent while the piece is being made.
Ask about renting a piecePet portraits in glass
Your dog, cat, horse or bird, cut and soldered from a photo. Each one is drawn by hand, so send a few photos and Alan picks the one that will work best in glass.
Good photos: eye level, daylight, the whole head in focus, no flash. Phone photos are fine.
If the piece is in memory of a pet who has passed, say so in the form and Alan will take special care with the likeness. Old or printed photos work too.
Tell Alan about your piece
He replies within two business days with questions, a price estimate and the next step. Nothing is charged until you approve a design.
